Téa has been clogging since she was 9 years old. She fell in love with clogging at a church talent show and started her journey with sims country cloggers shortly after. she went on to compete with the bailey mountain cloggers at mars hill university while pursuing her bachelor’s degree. she later continued her clogging career with unity cloggers in greenville, sc before returning to her roots at scc to become an instructor and to compete with the young adult team. over the course of her clogging career, she has received opportunities to perform at various festivals and parades across NC, sc, va, and tn. in 2019, she was able to share her passion for clogging overseas at an international festival in the azores islands of portugal. in 2022, she was inducted into the America’s clogging hall of fame all-American team. outside of clogging, she is very involved in her church and enjoys reading, going to concerts, and spending time with her husband and family.
